About 2008

I seem to be running into technical trouble! I have an old hard drive that I know contain photos of a couple activities that I need to transfer over, when I do, I will add a few more activities for 2008.

In March of 2008 Trent and I were called to be co-chairs of the Activities Committee. It was an honor and a blessing to accept. We LOVE this calling!

The first Variety show was held in 2008, but I didn't take one picture as I was super busy with my newborn. If you did, I would love them to be emailed so I can post!

In 2008 the ward experienced a second Iron Chef Competition. This time, Team Pickering won. The day was unexpectedly rainy so not as many people were able to attend, thinking the activity was cancelled, but it wasn't! The food was outstanding coming from each of the teams!


And we also did a Fall Festival instead of a Trunk or Treat. Many amazing families contributed chili for the chili competition (and provided dinner that night!) and many amazing treats were donated for the cake walk. This was also a super fun evening that we will repeat in 2009.
